Comarruga ist ein Küstenort, der zur Gemeinde El Vendrell gehört, die in der Provinz Tarragona liegt. Bis 1946 war es Teil der ehemaligen Gemeinde San Vicente de Calders.
Im weiteren Sinne wird Comarruga oft als Gesamtheit der folgenden Wohnanlagen der Gemeinde Vendrell bezeichnet: Barrio Marítimo de Comarruga, Barrio de la Estación, Brisamar, Comarruga Park, Els Garrofers, Els Masos, Jardines de Comarruga, La Cruz de Comarruga, La Cruz de Comarruga Sur, Les Clotes, Masía Blanca und Nirvana. Manchmal wird der Name Comarruga verwendet, um die gesamte Küste der Gemeinde Vendrell zwischen der Grenze zu Roda de Bará im Westen und der Riera de la Bisbal im Osten zu kennzeichnen, einschließlich der Strände von Francás und San Salvador.
