Ferrol Vello ist das alte Stadtzentrum der galicischen Stadt Ferrol. Es ist ein historisches Ensemble, die Ursprünge der Stadt, das zum Hafen orientiert und kompakt am Ende der Ria geschützt ist.
Bis zum 18. Jahrhundert erstreckte sich die Stadt Ferrol nicht über das eigentliche Ferrol Vello hinaus und hing von den adligen Häusern der Lemos und Andrade ab. Die Kommunikation mit der Außenwelt erfolgte insbesondere über das Meer, während der Ort zu Land praktisch isoliert war. Im Laufe der Zeit hat es seine mittelalterliche Struktur kontinuierlich bewahrt, die noch im Straßenverlauf und in der städtischen Parzellierung erkennbar ist.
