Dieser Platz liegt an der Grenze zwischen den Stadtteilen San Lorenzo und San Vicente und verfügt über zahlreiche Keramikarbeiten mit Bezug zu verschiedenen Religionen.

Der Platz ist auch ein Ort für Denkmäler berühmter Persönlichkeiten wie dem Stierkämpfer Joselito el Gallo. Auf dem Platz finden Sie auch die Kirche San Lorenzo und La basílica del Gran Poder, dies ist der Treffpunkt der Bruderschaft Jesús del Gran Poder. In Sevilla gibt es viele verschiedene Bruderschaften, die während der Semana Santa eine Prozession abhalten. Die Kirche San Lorenzo wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut und der Platz trägt seitdem diesen Namen.
