Die nächstgrößere Stadt, mit etwa 12.000 Einwohnern, ist Amboise, sie befindet sich etwa fünf Kilometer westlich von Chargé. Weitere Nachbargemeinden von Chargé sind Limeray im Norden, Mosnes im Osten, Souvigny-de-Touraine im Südosten und Saint-Règle im Süden.
