Monthelie ist eine französische Gemeinde im Département Côte-d’Or in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté mit 166 Einwohnern und einer Fläche von 3,14 km². Monthelie liegt im südlichen Teil der Côte de Beaune, etwa sieben Kilometer von Beaune entfernt nordwestlich von Meursault auf einer Höhe zwischen 251 und 386 m über dem Meer. Die Gemeinde liegt am Südhang des Tals Saint Romain, das die Rotweingebiete von den Weißweingebieten trennt. Wegen seiner Weine ist Monthelie in Fachkreisen sehr bekannt.
