Nachbargemeinden von Avesnes-le-Comte sind Noyelle-Vion im Norden, Hauteville im Osten, Fosseux im Südosten, Barly im Süden, Sombrin und Grand-Bullecourt im Südwesten sowie Beaufort-Blavincourt im Westen.
