Der Parc Lawrence liegt am nördlichen Eingang zum Stadtzentrum von Pau, nicht weit vom Parc des Expositions entfernt. Er beherbergt jahrhundertealte Bäume wie Atlaszedern und Libanonzedern, Rasenflächen, einen Spielplatz und ein Karussell für die Kinder.
Die Villa Lawrance (nach der der Park benannt ist) im flämisch-germanischen Stil wurde 1855 von der Familie Schlumberger erbaut. Im Jahr 1893 ging sie in den Besitz der Familie Lawrance über, die sich bereits luxuriös in der Stadt niedergelassen hatte, am heutigen Sitz der Bank von Frankreich. Nach dem Kauf durch die Stadt Pau beherbergte es lange Zeit die Präsidentschaft der Universität. Seit 2002 hat der Sitz des Cercle Anglais dort seine Sammlungen untergebracht.
Pau gehört zu den blumenreichsten Städten Frankreichs und trägt daher seit vielen Jahren die Auszeichnung "4 fleurs".
