Situato all'ingresso nord del centro città di Pau, non lontano dal Parc des Expositions, il Parco Lawrence ospita alberi secolari, come i cedri dell'Atlante e del Libano, prati, un parco giochi e una giostra per bambini.
La villa Lawrance, in stile fiammingo-germanico, da cui prende il nome il parco, fu costruita dalla famiglia Schlumberger nel 1855. Nel 1893 divenne proprietà della famiglia Lawrance, già lussuosamente insediata in città, nell'attuale sede della Banque de France. Acquistato dalla città di Pau, è stato a lungo sede della Presidenza dell'Università. Dal 2002, la sede del Circolo inglese vi ha installato le sue collezioni.
Pau è una delle città più fiorite di Francia ed è stata premiata con i "4 fiori" per molti anni.
