Het Lawrence Park, gelegen aan de noordelijke ingang van het stadscentrum van Pau, niet ver van het Parc des Expositions, herbergt eeuwenoude bomen, zoals Atlas en Libanese ceders, grasvelden, een speeltuin en een draaimolen voor kinderen.
De Vlaams-Germaanse Villa Lawrance (waarnaar het park is genoemd) werd in 1855 gebouwd door de familie Schlumberger. In 1893 werd het eigendom van de familie Lawrance, die al luxueus in de stad was geïnstalleerd, in de huidige zetel van de Banque de France. Gekocht door de stad Pau, was het lange tijd de thuisbasis van het voorzitterschap van de universiteit. Sinds 2002 installeert het hoofdkwartier van de Engelse Kring er zijn collecties.
Pau is een van de meest bloemrijke steden van Frankrijk en is al vele jaren bekroond met de "4 bloemen".
