Außen an der Fassade besitzt die Kirche ein bemerkenswertes Portal, das zwischen 1517 und 1548 von dem champagnischen Architekten Jehan Laurens erbaut wurde und aus drei Vorhallen besteht. Das bedeutendste Tympanon in der Mitte zeigt die Verkündigung, das rechts dargestellte die Auferstehung und das links die Sünde. Die Tympana und Kämpfer sind skulptiert und enthalten sieben hängende Steine, in die Statuetten der Apostel eingelassen sind. Man kann auch Friesformen im Stil der Zweiten Renaissance und Wasserspeier sehen. Der Abschluss dieser Fassade datiert wahrscheinlich auf die Jahre 1565, da man dort das Emblem des ersten Gonzague, Herzog von Rethel, sieht, das eine strahlende Sonne unter einem Bogen darstellt.
