Die Amoco Cadiz war ein Öltanker der US-amerikanischen Amoco Oil Corporation. Unter liberianischer Flagge fahrend kollidierte sie am 16. März 1978 mit einem Felsen an der Küste der Bretagne und zerbrach in drei Teile, was zum sechstgrößten Ölunfall der Geschichte führte. Die Ladung von 223.000 Tonnen Rohöl sowie der Bunker-C-Treibstoff gelangten ins Meer.
