Die Stau-Staumauer von L'Escale befindet sich am Fluss Durance in den Alpes-de-Haute-Provence zwischen den Gemeinden L'Escale an der linken Uferseite und Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban an der rechten Uferseite. Sie wurde zwischen 1959 und 1962 erbaut und ist eine Gewichtsstaumauer mit Aufschüttungen. Sie besteht aus einem 30 m hohen Betonabschnitt, der die Brücke trägt, und einem 610 m langen Damm, was eine Gesamtlänge von 760 m ergibt. Sie dient als Wasserentnahme zur Versorgung des EDF-Kanals, der zur Kraftwerksanlage von Oraison führt, sowie zum Kanal von Manosque.
