El puente-represa de L'Escale está situado en el curso de la Durance en los Alpes-de-Haute-Provence entre los municipios de L'Escale en la margen izquierda y Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban en la margen derecha. Construida entre 1959 y 1962, la presa de L'Escale es del tipo presa de peso con accesos de terraplén. Está constituida por una parte de concreto, de 30 m de altura, que soporta el puente, y una dique de 610 m de longitud para una longitud total de 760 m. Sirve como toma de agua para alimentar la parte del canal EDF que llega a la central de Oraison, así como al canal de Manosque.
