Das Musée du Luxembourg, das 1750 als erstes Museum in Frankreich eröffnet wurde, bietet zwei Jahresausstellungen der Rmn-Grand Palais. Es stellt die Renaissance, die Verbindungen zwischen Kunst und Macht und die Rolle von Paris als Hauptstadt der Künste in den Vordergrund. Das Senatsmuseum befindet sich in der Nähe des Palais du Luxembourg und des Jardin du Luxembourg und genießt einen außergewöhnlichen Rahmen im Herzen des Quartier Latin. Die Räume wurden von dem Architekten Shigeru Ban neu gestaltet und beinhalten das Restaurant/Teesalon Angelina und pädagogische Workshops.
