Diese Straße im Stadtteil Nancy Thermal in der Nähe des Musée de l'Ecole de Nancy und des Parc Sainte-Marie wurde hauptsächlich zwischen 1903 und 1913 bebaut und spiegelt die Architektur und den Städtebau dieser Zeit gut wider. Die schönen bunten Häuser mit naturalistischem Dekor des Architekten und Bauträgers César Pain verleihen dieser Straße einen gewissen Charme. Sie waren eher für die Mittelschicht bestimmt. Der Architekt Emile André baute hier auch das Haus Nr. 36, das an seinen Bau im Parc de Saurupt erinnert: die Villa Les glycines.
