Deze straat, gelegen in de thermale wijk van Nancy nabij de Ecole de Nancy en het Sainte-Marie-park, werd voornamelijk aangelegd tussen 1903 en 1913 en weerspiegelt de architectuur en stedenbouw van die periode. Mooie, kleurrijke huizen met een naturalistisch decor van architect en projectontwikkelaar César Pain geven deze straat een zekere charme. Ze waren meer voor de middenklasse. De architect Emile André ontwierp ook het huis op nr. 36, dat doet denken aan zijn bouwwerk in het Parc de Saurupt: de villa Les glycines.
