Der Pollet ist ein Stadtteil von Dieppe, der im Tal liegt, an der rechten Flussaue der Mündung des Küstenflusses l'Arques, der in den Ärmelkanal mündet. Es ist das Viertel der Fischer von Dieppe. Seine Bewohner werden Poltais -aises genannt und der Begriff, adjektivisch verwendet, bezeichnet kulinarische Rezepte auf Fischbasis.
