Terres d'Oiseaux liegt in einem geschützten Sumpfgebiet und ist eines der letzten Röhrichte der Gironde. Dieses Biotop beherbergt seltene Vögel und bietet Lebensraum für zahlreiche Insekten, Amphibien und Säugetiere. Es wurden mehr als 110 Vogelarten beobachtet, darunter Rohrweihen, Reiher, Störche und Bekassinen. Der Park umfasst zwei unterschiedliche und einander ergänzende Bereiche: - einen kostenlosen Bereich, der Zugang zum Beobachtungsturm, zum Empfangsgebäude mit Entspannungsbereich, Café und Boutique und zum Panoramarestaurant gewährt, - einen kostenpflichtigen Bereich mit drei Vogellehrpfaden und Beobachtungsstellen mit fixen Fernrohren.
