Situata in un'area paludosa preservata, Terres d'Oiseaux è uno degli ultimi canneti dell'estuario della Gironda. Questo biotopo ospita uccelli rari e offre rifugio a molti insetti, anfibi e mammiferi. Falchi di palude, aironi, cicogne, beccaccini: sono state osservate più di 110 specie di uccelli.
Il sito offre 2 aree distinte e complementari
- un'area libera che consente ai visitatori di accedere a una torre di osservazione, all'edificio della reception con area relax, caffetteria e negozio, nonché al ristorante panoramico,
- un'area a pagamento composta da 3 percorsi ornitologici con osservatori dotati di telescopi fissi.
