Eines der schönsten Überbleibsel des mittelalterlichen Lothringens, insbesondere dank der Erhaltung von fünf Türmen im Aufriss
Donjon aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, Entwicklung der Burg vom 13. bis zum 17. Jahrhundert, mit Anpassung an die Artillerie. Seit 1991 bemühen sich die Freiwilligen der Association Clef de Voûte darum, die Anlage zu pflegen und ihr neues Leben einzuhauchen.
