Am Suran gibt es zahlreiche Furten, große Steine, die quer über die Strömung gelegt wurden. Die Ufer wurden auch für den Durchgang von Tieren angelegt. Der Ursprung ist unklar, doch ist es wahrscheinlich, dass diese Verwendung sehr alt ist.
