Am 28. Juli 1928 weihte die Stadt Soissons in der Rue de la Bannière ein Denkmal für die britische Armee ein. Das Denkmal wurde von den Bildhauern Herbet Hart und Eric Henry Kennington sowie den Architekten Gordon H. Holt und Verner O. Rees entworfen. Auf einem Podest stehen drei britische Soldaten in der Mitte des Denkmals. Sie stehen vor einer Mauer aus weißen, für das Soissonnais typischen Steinen, in die die Namen von 3987 Offizieren und Soldaten eingraviert sind, denen der Krieg ein erkennbares Begräbnis verweigert hat. Auf derselben Mauer erinnert eine Inschrift an das Opfer dieser Männer, die im Ersten Weltkrieg an der Seite der französischen Armeen kämpften. Fordern Sie den Zugangscode beim Fremdenverkehrsamt an
