Die Kirche ist dem Heiligen Hilarius geweiht, was zweifellos an den Bischof von Poitiers (315-367) erinnert. Nur der Chor, der von der Charente beeinflusst ist, und die halbrunde Apsis stammen aus der romanischen Epoche. Die fünf durch Säulen getrennten Seiten des Kopfteils sind von Fenstern mit Archivolten durchbrochen. Die Kapitelle sind mit Figuren, Tieren und Laubwerk verziert. Die dem Heiligen Antonius gewidmete Nordkapelle wurde 1632 oder 1644 errichtet. Der Friedhof, der die Kirche ursprünglich umgab, wurde 1856 verlegt. Das südliche Seitenschiff stammt aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, ebenso wie der Glockenturm.
