Als bürgernahe Kultureinrichtung ermöglicht es die Sensibilisierung, Information und Schulung aller Bevölkerungsgruppen in Bezug auf die Architektur und das Kulturerbe der Stadt. Als Schlüssel zum Verständnis der lokalen Geschichte bietet es einen Ort der Begegnung und der Information über die städtebauliche Entwicklung der Stadt im Laufe der Jahrhunderte und über die laufenden zeitgenössischen Stadt- und Landschaftsgestaltungsprojekte.
Zu entdecken: 2 Ausstellungsräume, die die Geschichte von Gourdon und sein Kulturerbe dokumentieren; Wechselausstellungen.
An den Tagen des Kulturerbes gelten die gleichen Öffnungszeiten wie in der Hochsaison, d. h. samstags und sonntags von 11.00 bis 18.00 Uhr.
