Der Hartholzarbeiter arbeitete von Oktober bis Juni in den Wäldern und fand in einer mit Rinde bedeckten Hütte Schutz, die er zu Beginn der Saison selbst baute. Die Hütte diente als Werkstatt, Esszimmer und auch als Schlafstätte für den Arbeiter. In der Mitte befand sich eine Bank, auf der das Holz geschnitzt wurde, die Werkzeuge hingen an der Decke, es gab einen Stuhl und eine Feuerstelle im Boden. Diese Hütte wurde 2016 im Herzen des Waldes von Boubon errichtet und kann bei einer Wanderung (Rundgang "La forêt de Boubon") oder bei einer Schatzsuche von Tèrra Aventura (Cache "en poste en forêt de Boubon!") besichtigt werden
