Dieses halb unterirdische Waschhaus aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert wurde von dem Architekten Valcolorois Merdier und Claude Paulon Aîné, einem Unternehmer aus Maxey-sur-Vaise, restauriert. Um das Waschhaus zu betreten, muss man zunächst drei Stufen von der Straße bis zur Rundbogentür hinuntersteigen, dann noch einmal drei Stufen, um auf Bodenhöhe zu gelangen, wo das lange Waschbecken, das von einem Bach namens Haute Meuse gespeist wird, unterirdisch angelegt ist.
Die Straßenfassade und der Unterstand, der die Quellfassung schützt, bestehen aus Quadersteinen. Der Dachstuhl ruht auf den Wänden und drei gusseisernen Pfosten, die sich auf den Beckenrand stützen.
