Das genaue Datum des Baus dieser Kirche ist unbekannt, aber Dokumente aus dem späten 16. Jahrhundert weisen sie als Hauptkirche aus. Die heutige Kirche wurde mit Hilfe der Einwohner der Gemeinde wieder aufgebaut, da diese eine möglichst große, schöne, aber auch billige Kirche haben wollten. Also halfen sie abends (nach der Arbeit) oder sonntags mit, indem sie das Material von der Ziegelei in Borde Rouge in der Nähe des Kanals herantrugen. Diese Kirche besteht nur aus einem Kirchenschiff.
