La data esatta di costruzione di questa chiesa è sconosciuta, ma i documenti della fine del XVI secolo la citano come chiesa principale. La chiesa attuale è stata ricostruita con l'aiuto degli abitanti del luogo, che volevano la chiesa più grande, più bella e meno costosa possibile. Così, la sera (dopo il lavoro) o la domenica, hanno aiutato trasportando i materiali dalla fabbrica di mattoni di Borde Rouge, vicino al canale. Questa chiesa ha una sola navata.
