Christine Waxweiler hat viele Jahre lang mit alten Emailrezepten gearbeitet, die sie sich angeeignet und neu interpretiert hat. Sie hat diese Forschung an ihren Gefühlen, Emotionen und ihrer Anziehung zur Materie, dem Brodeln der Massen orientiert. Diese Ausrichtung ist sehr persönlich, führt aber zu einer neuen keramischen Handschrift.
Ihre Stücke sind Skulpturen (Scheiben, Würfel...), Wandpaneele oder Elemente der Tischkunst wie Yunomis, kleine Tassen und Chawans.
