Le opere di Christine Waxweiler sono realizzate in gres e cotte a 1280°. È molto sensibile alla materia e al colore. Per molti anni Christine Waxweiler ha lavorato con vecchie ricette di smalto, di cui si è appropriata e che ha rivisitato. Ha orientato questa ricerca verso i suoi sentimenti, le sue emozioni e la sua attrazione per la materia e il ribollire delle masse. Questo orientamento è molto personale, ma dà origine a un nuovo stile ceramico. I suoi pezzi comprendono sculture (dischi, cubi, ecc.), pannelli da parete e oggetti da tavola come yunomi, piccole tazze e chawan.
