Gan liegt 5 km südlich von Pau und ist eine alte Bastide in der Béarnaise mit einem interessanten Kulturerbe.
Auffällig sind das alte Bastidentor und einige gut restaurierte historische Häuser. Die Stadt wird von zwei Wasserläufen durchquert, darunter der Neez, hier finden Sie den Picknickplatz. Es ist eine angenehme Gegend, Sie werden am Wasser, im Gras und in den Blumenbeeten sein, ruhig und doch nur 100 m vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.
