Gan, 5 km ten zuiden van Pau, is een oude Béarnaise bastide met een interessant erfgoed.
De oude bastidepoort en enkele goed gerestaureerde historische huizen zijn een bezoek waard. De stad wordt doorkruist door twee rivieren, waaronder de Neez, waar zich de picknickplaats bevindt. Het is een aangename omgeving, u zit aan het water, in het gras en de bloemperken, rustig en toch op 100m van het centrum.
