Bouzemont ist ein sehr altes Dorf voller Legenden und seine Kirche Saint-Georges ist eine der ältesten des Departements Vosges. Sie wurde 1065 von Udon, dem Bischof von Toul, erbaut und gehörte zum Kapitel von Saint-Gengoult. Von dem ursprünglichen Gebäude sind noch ein Teil des Glockenturms und die Arkaden des Kirchenschiffs erhalten (M.H.). Das Joch, das das südliche Seitenschiff abschließt, stammt aus dem 13. Die Gewölbe und der fünfeckige Chor stammen aus dem Jahr 1534, als die ursprüngliche Kirche mehr oder weniger renoviert wurde.
