Der 4,5-stündige Aufstieg führt über alle Höhenstufen auf einem alten, gut ausgebauten und stellenweise gepflasterten Maultierpfad und kann mit Zwischenstopps in der Lac d'Oô-Hütte und der Espingo-Hütte unterbrochen werden.
Wanderer und erfahrene Bergsteiger schätzen die Lage der Hütte als Basislager inmitten eines Kars mit 12 Gipfeln von über 3000 m Höhe. Bergsteigern steht eine große Auswahl an Kämmen und Granitfelsen zur Verfügung.
