L'ascesa, della durata di 4 ore, attraversa tutti i diversi livelli montuosi su un'antica mulattiera ben segnalata e a tratti lastricata, con soste al rifugio Lac d'Oô e poi al rifugio Espingo.
Gli escursionisti e gli alpinisti esperti apprezzeranno la sua posizione di campo base nel cuore di un circo di 12 cime di oltre 3000 metri. Gli alpinisti hanno una vasta scelta di creste e pareti di granito tra cui scegliere.
