Kleinstadt am Ufer der Aisne mit mehreren Geschäften und Dienstleistungen Beherrscht von einem steilen Felsen, auf dem die Ruinen einer Festung, die Kirche Saint-Thibault (nur von außen) und das Maison Forte Wignacourt (nur von außen) zu sehen sind. 1777 ging das Fürstentum Château-Porcien durch Nachkommenschaft und Heirat in den Besitz des Hauses Monaco über. Die Erinnerung an diese Allianz mit der Familie Grimaldi bleibt bestehen, da S.A.S. Prinz Albert II. von Monaco den heute ehrenhaften Titel des Fürsten von Château-Porcien erbte
