Zwischen 1958 und 1992 durchforstet Abbé Hoarau unermüdlich alle Winkel seiner Gemeinde und zieht dabei angehende Archäologen mit sich. Er sammelte Steine, Scherben, Knochen und Kieselsteine, die er geduldig etikettierte und im ersten Museum ausstellte, das er 1967 über dem Rathaus von Blasimon eröffnete. Diese Sammlung dient als Grundlage für eine originelle Entdeckungsreise durch das Entre-deux-Mers, das Land der Abteien, Mühlen, Bastiden und Weinberge. Das neue Museum von Blasimon wurde modernisiert, erweitert und in der Kapelle des Dorfes eingerichtet. Es verwandelt die Besucher in Archäologen von heute und bietet Spiele, Animationen, pädagogische Workshops und einzigartige Entdeckungen.
