Der in der Gemeinde Saint Étienne du Valdonnez gelegene Teich befindet sich in der Kernzone des Nationalparks Cévenne und ist mit dem Gütesiegel "Europäische Charta für nachhaltigen Tourismus" ausgezeichnet. Sie erreichen ihn über die Straße D35, die den Col de Montmirat mit Pont de Montvert verbindet. Der Teich ist vom 1. Juli bis einschließlich 31. August sowie an Wochenenden und Feiertagen vom 1. Mai bis 30. Juni zum Angeln geöffnet.
