Der in Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born errichtete Fronton ist eine Mauer, an der baskisches Pelota gespielt wird. Es ist ein architektonisches Element, das in fast allen Städten und Dörfern des französischen Baskenlands und in geringerem Maße auch in den angrenzenden Regionen zu finden ist.
Die Mauer wird am Ende eines freien Platzes errichtet, der als Spielfeld für folgende Spezialitäten dient: bloße Hand, rebot, joko-garbi, grand chistera, grosse pala, paleta cuir und paleta gomme pleine.
Im Baskischen wird dieser Platz Plaza genannt.
Die Plaza ist ein meist nicht überdachter Platz, der aus einer Mauer oder aus zwei Mauern (eine an jedem Ende) besteht. Es gibt Frontons in allen Größen (ca. 10 bis 16 m breit und 6 bis 10 m hoch), einige sind sogar überdacht.
