Die kleine Kapelle am Ufer des Longemer-Sees wurde um 1449 von den Chanoinesses de Remiremont erbaut, um das Andenken an Bilon zu bewahren. Bilon war ein Offizier von Gerhard von Elsass, der zum Einsiedler wurde und 1056 an einem Ort lebte, der bis heute "la butte Bilon" genannt wird. Nach dem Verfall wurde sie 1727 wieder aufgebaut und von einem Bischof aus Straßburg dem Heiligen Florent gewidmet.
An den Tagen des Kulturerbes sind die Gebeine des Eremiten zu besichtigen.
