Situada a orillas del lago de Longemer, la pequeña capilla fue construida hacia 1449 por las Chanoinesses de Remiremont para perpetuar la memoria de Bilon, un oficial de Gérard d'Alsace que se hizo ermitaño y vivió en 1056 en un lugar que aún hoy se conoce como "la butte Bilon". Arruinada, fue reconstruida en 1727 y dedicada a San Florencio por un obispo de Estrasburgo.
Está abierta al público en las Jornadas del Patrimonio y en ella se encuentran los huesos del ermitaño.
