Die erste Kirche wurde im 11. Jahrhundert an einem Ort erbaut , an dem es bereits seit dem 4. Jahrhundert eine christliche Kultstätte gab .
Die Kirche wurde Sant Miquel, dem Erzengel und Beschützer der Christen, geweiht . Die heutige Kirche wurde im 12. Jahrhundert im romanischen Stil erbaut. Es besteht aus einem Schiff, einer Kreuzfahrt und einem Chor.
Im Jahr 1863 hatte Abt Auguste Cazin die Idee, auf einem von ihm gekauften Grundstück die Kirche Saint-Michel zu errichten. Der Grundstein wurde im August 1867 nach den Plänen des Architekten Bouloch aus Boulogne gelegt. Die Kirche wurde am 29. September 1868 gesegnet und am 17. August 1876 geweiht. Am Gründonnerstag 1892 zerstörte ein Brand das Mobiliar und beschädigte die Kirche. Der Architekt aus Hesde, Clovis Normand, leitete die Restaurierungsarbeiten. Das neue Gebäude wurde am 16. Oktober 1892 geweiht. Der Glockenturm wurde 1955 nach den Plänen des Boulogne-Architekten Dujardin erbaut .
