Die Kirche St. Remigius befindet sich in der Rue de l'Église in Charleville-Mézières, im Departement Ardennes. Ein erstes Projekt von Gautiez im neogotischen Stil, das 1856 zunächst vom Ausschuss der Generalsekretäre genehmigt wurde, wurde letztendlich abgelehnt. In den 1860er Jahren wird die Kirche St. Remigius nach den Plänen des Diözesanarchitekten Jean François Racine an der Stelle der ehemaligen Kapelle des großen Priorats der christlichen Militärs, gegründet von Charles de Gonzague und seiner Frau, erbaut. Das Gebäude im neoromanischen Stil wird 1863 fertiggestellt.
