Der Silbury Hill ist mit ca. 37 m Höhe, 167 m Durchmesser und einem Rauminhalt von ca. 248.000 m³ der größte prähistorische künstliche Hügel Europas und einer der größten der Welt. Zusammen mit Stonehenge, Avebury und benachbarten prähistorischen Monumenten, wurde der Hügel im Jahr 1986 in das UNESCO-Welterbe aufgenommen.
