Cantley ist ein Dorf und eine zivile Gemeinde im Metropolitan Borough von Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. Das Dorf grenzt an Bessacarr, getrennt durch die Bawtry Road. Es hat eine Bevölkerung von 2.830, die bei der Volkszählung 2011 leicht auf 2.817 zurückging.
Der zweite Teil des Namens ist das Altenglische –lēah, was "eine Lichtung, Weide, Wiese" bedeutet. Dies wird entweder an Canta-, ein nicht aufgezeichnetes, aber plausibles altenglisches Hypokorismus, oder an das brittonische cant angehängt, was "einen Umfang, eine Grenze" und "eine Teilung, Anteil an Land" bedeutet.
