Peaslake, Hoe und Colman's Hill liegen im Zentrum des Surrey Hills AONB und im Mittelwesten des Greensand Ridge, etwa 5 Meilen ESE der Kreistadt Guildford. Umgeben von dichteren Kiefern- und anderen Nadelwaldhügeln haben die drei miteinander verbundenen Siedlungen einen kleinen Kern in Peaslake selbst mit den Annehmlichkeiten eines Dorfes, sind jedoch ansonsten dünn besiedelte Siedlungen in höherer Lage als das Zentrum von Shere, der zivilen Gemeinde.
Das Gebiet, das bei der Volkszählung 2011 erfasst wurde, umfasst 302 Hektar. Friends of the Hurtwood pflegen und bewirtschaften 3.000 Acres des umgebenden Waldes, des Hurtwood, der Folgendes umfasst: Holmbury Hill, Pitch Hill, Winterfold, Shere Heath, Farley Heath und einen Teil von Blackheath Common. Es liegt in der zivilen Gemeinde Shere.
