Blaydon ist ein Bahnhof an der Tyne Valley Line, die zwischen Newcastle und Carlisle über Hexham verläuft. Der Bahnhof, der 5 Meilen und 39 Ketten westlich von Newcastle liegt, bedient die Stadt Blaydon, Gateshead in Tyne and Wear, England. Er gehört Network Rail und wird von Northern Trains betrieben.
Die Newcastle and Carlisle Railway wurde 1829 gegründet und wurde schrittweise eröffnet. Der Bahnhof wurde im März 1835 eröffnet, nachdem der Personenverkehr zwischen Blaydon und Hexham begann. Ursprünglich als östlicher Endpunkt der Linie vorgesehen, begannen die Durchgehenden Züge nach Redheugh im März 1837.
