Das Jane Austen's House Museum ist ein kleines unabhängiges Museum im Dorf Chawton nahe Alton in Hampshire. Es ist ein Schriftstellerhausmuseum, das das 17. Jahrhundert Haus besetzt, in dem die Romanautorin Jane Austen die letzten acht Jahre ihres Lebens verbrachte. Das Museum ist seit 1963 ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude der Kategorie I.
Ehemals Heimat lokaler Landwirte, war das Haus kurzzeitig ein Gasthaus, The New Inn, zwischen 1781 und 1787. Die Kneipe war Schauplatz zweier Morde, und nach dem zweiten Mord wurde das Haus von Edward Austen Knight an einen Vollstrecker, Bridger Seward, vermietet.
