El Museo de la Casa de Jane Austen es un pequeño museo independiente en la aldea de Chawton, cerca de Alton, en Hampshire. Es un museo de la casa de un escritor que ocupa la casa del siglo XVII en la que la novelista Jane Austen pasó los últimos ocho años de su vida. El museo ha sido un edificio catalogado de Grado I desde 1963.
Anteriormente hogar de agricultores locales, la casa fue brevemente una casa pública, The New Inn, entre 1781 y 1787. El pub fue el escenario de dos asesinatos, y después del segundo asesinato, la casa fue alquilada por Edward Austen Knight a un alguacil, Bridger Seward.
