Der Orwell Clunch Pit ist ein 1,8 Hektar großer biologischer Standort von besonderem wissenschaftlichen Interesse am nordlichen Rand von Orwell in Cambridgeshire. Er gehört dem Orwell Parish Council und wird vom Clunch Pit Management Trust verwaltet.
Dieser ehemalige Steinbruch hat eine reiche Flora von Kalk-Wiesen, einem Lebensraum, der in Ostengland selten geworden ist. Kräuter sind darunter Nierenwicke, Hufeisenwicke, stacheliger Rispengras und wilder Thymian.
